In 2015 the nation’s favourite flavour crisp was announced with cheese topping the bill. Cheese flavour crisps racked up sales of £320 million in the previous year. Ready Salted came a close second with sales reaching £302 million while Cheese and Onion came in third place with sales of £244 million. BBQ flavour crisps had a surge in popularity of 54% as did the beef flavour snack with a 24% increase in sales.
The research most importantly illustrated that overall sales of crisps had soared 398% over the last four years suggesting that Britain’s love of crisps is still going strong!
